I am pretty sure that you will need to do several other modifications to make them work, such as larger wheels, etc. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I am not sur about the Viper upgrade nut I am sure that people have done them. You could order the system that came on the Shelby Durangos from Stillen, but they will cost an arm and a leg, the replacement pads and rotors cost me $1600. If you did this I think the only thing to change would be your wheels.
Also check out Willwood I am sure they would make a kit too!

stainless steel brake company makes a better system and they also make the conversion kit for the rear. frts will run you about 300.00 and the rear conversion from drum to disc about a grand

why upgrade the brakes any ways?
i believe the bigger brakes the more stopping power you have, which is nice especially if you haul heavy loads or travel at high speeds frequently, but idk if it works, bc my dads truck (03 dakota QC) has a huge brake pad on the front, and such a huge rotor, it has 2 pistons on either side to push the pad and his truck still seems to slow down slower than mine or my moms both of which have the regular 1 piston pads on either side and drums in the back. we think that he has the heavy duty brakes, but are not sure, and he also has disk brakes on the back, idk why theyre better than the drums, if anyone could explain that to me id love to be enlightenedORIGINAL: 98Dodger4x4

There was a really good post about pros and cons of this brake upgrade on a Durango on another forum.
The Durango owner had problems that were only solved in the end by special diagnostic work by Fred Goeske's company:

Before spending the money
it might pay to call or email Fred and ask his advice.
If I remember right
the brake upgrade did eventually work really well.
