i kinda doubt that too, it wouldn't be a occasional thing, but i relay thought it was the wires...

the problem got worse today, at first it would only misfire on occasion when it was idling and even then it wasnt noticable, but on my way to work today going up a pretty big hill the RPMs hit abour 2500 and i could feel the misfire, the truck kept running but the misfire didnot go away, the light came back on and it was noticeable at all times except even cruising at about 1500 RPM without a load, and help would be great, and soon too PLEASE

PS i thought about maybe i knocked a wire loose from one of the fuel injectors while i was changing cap rotor and wires?? is this possible and would it cause the engine to do this?

PSS the spark plug in cylinder 5 was dry and clean when i took it out to check it, and the plugs are only about 3 weeks old and have less than 100 miles on them and are champions
