Default A.S.A.P.

im buying the djm 3/5 pro drop, but i neen to know if i should buy new coils and shocks for the front, and possibly shocks for the back. this way i will have it done right and a good ride, cause its my daily driver. thanks for the help. hopefully ill know soon so i can order A.S.A.P.

Post a link to the product itself. How is it lowering? A arms in the front and brackets in the back? depending on which area of suspension is being changed will answer that questions for you. Are you still running the original shocks that came with the truck? If so, I would change them out either way, especially if you are lowering the vehicle.

If you're altering the amount of suspension travel, then yes, you need to order new shocks of the appropriate length or you run the risk of blowing them out.

it comes with the front control arms, and shackle and hanger kit for the back. i was going to get new shocks but should i also get new springs? and should i get shocks for the back, because i got leaf springs now. i honestly dont know jack about what to do, and i was hoping for $500 it would come with eveything i need but i guess not.[:@]

be nice to have a link to what ur geting...but yes you will need new shocks f&r if ur lowering it that much if its a flip in the back no you dont need new springs...front yes you will need new springs...unless you like the feel of a shoping cart...

i'm getting the same kit.
Yes! you need front and rear shocks

No, you won't need to get new springs in the front
as the control arms keep the shock length, you won't lose flex.
just make sure it gets aligned after install.

P.S. Never expect to spend an exact amount and get everything you need

im thinkin bout gettin th 2/3 drop for my r/t. ive seen different configurations for up front.wats the best: lower control arms, spindles, or shorter coils? ive heard its the control arms. wats my best choice?

certain kits sell spindles but i thought the control arms were better? i think the spindles r cheaper tho, not sure havnt looked at em in awhile
