I see that there is a service bulletin for over filling the axle ( I assume differential) on my 04 Durnango. Does anyone know what the exact capacity is for the front and rear diffs?

 

I don't know off of the top of my head, but it is the same as what is in the owner's manual.
The bulletin is informational. It is simply to notify that filling to the bottom of the fill hole is overfull.
Most people fill to the bottom of the fill hole, the bulletin states that 1/4 inch(If I remember right) below the hole is the correct level.
Use the amount that is in the owner's manual in the fluid capacities section.
