Default New 2007 Durango!!

Traded in the 04' Ram last night and got a new 2007 Dodge Durango SLT 4 X 4 Hemi.

I have a couple questions:
Is there after market/OEM head console that has direction, outside temp...etc.? That was the only option that this durango was lacking that my truck had.

Also, with regards to the MDS...when do you know it is actually engaged? Does it only occur at 60-65 mph when you have the cruise set?

TIA!

Yeah I opted for the Lifetime Bumper to Bumper that they were offering. Why do you ask? Did I get suckered into something??? I mean h*ll for LIFTIME BtoB it was only like 30 bucks etc. on the monthly payment. And I can throw the miles on a vehicle quick with my commute to work.

You paid extra for the lifetime warranty? Yea you got suckered.

Call Chrysler right away and report that dealer. The lifetime warranty is free and part of the new sales package on all DCX products. That dealer needs reported to the BBB and more.

The lifetime warranty is Drive Train. Maybe the Bumper to bumper is an option.

I was just curios really, didn't know if the promotion had started yet.

It came with the lifetime powertrain... but yes the promotion to opt for a LIFETIME BUMPER TO BUMPER was available. They had about 4 different warranty packages. We took GAP insurance and the lifetime b to b. Pretty sweet.

GAP via your insurance is CHEAP, Gap via the stealer is 10X+ that of the cost via your auto coverages AND you are paying interest on top of it since it is 'included' in the car payment. Cancel it and see if you can get that part of your money back, then add it to your auto insurance.

I just read this thread and called the F&I manager at the dealer where my wife and I pick up our Durango today. He is going to check again, but he said the longest bumper to bumper extended warranty offers is the 10year / 120k mile. We are paying about an $30 per month for that one. I told him about others claining they bought the lifetime bumper to bumper, so I await his call back. I amy call Chrysler myself to see what they say.

Well, this thread saved the day! Thanks Boatbuilder !!!!

It turns out the Bumper to Bumper Lifetime warranty IS available from Chrysler they call a "WRAP warranty". The great news is it's the SAME PRICEI was about to pay for the 10 yr/ 120k that turned out to be from Zurich, and NOT Chrysler.

So this thread saved the day allowing me to have the Dealer find out aboutputtingus in Chrysler's Lifetime "Wrap" (Bumper to Bumper) warranty instead.I can't say enough ofhow thankful I am for this forum and you guyssharing your experiences to help others out.
