brake pedal
i bought an 06 durango for my wife about 3 months ago. we have been pleased with it. but, there is a rattling under the dash when you hit potholes and such. when you step on the brake the rattle will stop. so, i figured that the brake pedal mount was loose. i looked under there today to see if i could tell what was loose. i noticed that there are lots of washers and spacers on the long bar that the pedal swivels on. i wiggled the pedal and it had some side to side movement, surely that whats causing the noise. is there a washer under there thats designed to wear then be replaced? has anyone else experienced that same rattle? (you would know it bc its pretty loud)
Shouldn't be an issue on a 06! Mine is a 04 and I have no issues.
I remember there was a problem one Guy had where the whole assembly came loose.
You still should be under warranty, bring it to the dealer.
