Default 07 Durango Rear Bumper Step Pad??

My problem is with an 07 Durango Limited, itinvolves the running boards and rear bumper step pad. Both are becoming discolored and white looking, and makes the whole vehicle look terrible. Has any one had this problem? What can be done for it? [:-]

Yep. It has a TSB and/or a recall and the dealer "should" replace them for you for free. If they have problems finding the detail, have them start by looking at the 2004 date, then the 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Don't let them claim it's wax residue on the black surfaces (it's not right?)

If it is indeed the discoloration, they should take care of it for you.

Same problem here, a TSB # would be great.

No do not have a the TSB numbers, the one I showed the service department was for an 2004. And of course they claimed that one would not work. I take it to the dealer on 7/30/08 for this, a copy of the TSB would give me amunition...

Mine is a 2004. I wonder if they would do anything if I had the TSB #. Any thoughts?

The dealer showed alot of interest in my problem, turned out to be painless. Both running boards and rear step pad are going to be replaced. The dealer had to contact Chrysler office though. I went with a copy of the 04 TSB, so I guess their still having problems...
