Yeah they are painted as well as the grill

are those tires 285/75/r17 do they rub?

Yes they are, and they dont rub at all. If you have a 4.7 be prepared for noticeable power loss.

enough of a power loss to make the drive annoying or just enough to notice? and what about gas milage now?..... i have heard a wide variety of claims.. oh and by the way the truck looks great! love the painted grille and eyelids
