Cruise control won't turn on
I have a 2006 Dodge Durango SLT. The cruise control will no longer turn on (no "cruise" on instrument cluster lit up). The horn and all other buttons on the steering wheel work fine. There are no codes and no other warning lights lit.
This started around the same time a P0068 code showed up. I cleaned the throttle body (very dirty) and repaired a vacuum line that "may" have been a little loose. All other vacuum lines tested fine. The code disappeared. I saw in several posts that the clock spring could cause this issue, but it was usually attached to other symptoms like the horn not working or the airbag warning light coming on. Is this a clock spring issue without other symptoms or could there be another problem? I thought it might be a fuse issue, but I cannot find any fuses related to cruise control. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
