Extended warranty
Bit the bullet, my wife's 100K B2B warranty expired and we purchased another thru the "Agency" (dealership). We have a great relationship with the Service Manager, has gone the extra mile for us several times. He ran #2 gauge welding cables for us to wire up a 2400 Watt inverter in the back with a 100 amp fuse. Help us get a cat-back exhuast and 20 inch rims. Never but 5 star service even with these mods.
But, I have had some good and bad experiences with 3rd party warranties. One lesson learned with my F250 was the 3rd party warranty wasn't sold by the dealership - bad experience. The one I had with a Geo Prizm was and no problems. So this one is thru the them the Agency that is.
So, I figure I would ask you'all if you have had any experince with SPP? Service Payment Plan, Inc.. Out of Chicago, scary address of 303 E Wacker Dr..

If you have already bought the warranty, isn't this a LOT like closing the gate after the horses have already left?
Your post sounds like a thinly veiled attempt at a promotion for that warranty company. Bad idea.
Since you asked, THE ONLY warranty plans EVER worth buying are those backed by the vehicle manufacturer. MANY/MOST other warranty companies go out of business or make your ability to get a claim through very difficult.
The company you mentioned above currently has a good BBB rating with 9 complaints reported.

Indy, feel free to look at my previous posts and graphics you will CLEARLY see I have no stinking hidden agenda.
Now I will take criticism freely, like your mentioning I have already purchased it but yea that's the case. In my opinion its not wrong to see if any of the fellow Dodge troopers out here have a good or bad experiences. How is that any different than programmers, CAI's, rims, tires and freaking hood scoops with websites posted to their vendors?
Now you have informed me of the BBB (btw the way didn't even think about it checking the BBB prior to purchase due to the relationship with the SM, matter of fact didn't even know who the company was until I got the first bill this weekend). So I will check out the complaints and question my SM.
I have had 3 warranty companies, all them so far have been amicable when they are purchased thru the dealership (Chevy, Ford and BMW) the 4th the first for the F250 was thru the bank (3rd party) and they dropped me and refunded me when my trucks tranny took a sh*t. Ford R&R the tranny and I purchased a warranty and they don't have a problem with the 35's and 4" I have on it. So go fiqure.
Indy, I was just asking for some input.
Hermi,
With only 20 posts or so, it is VERY COMMON to see trolls work a group slightly with a post here or there in order to benefit their agenda and spring their real intentions right around your post count. Add in the reality that since you ALREADY bought the warranty, it does come across as useless pondering and least and questionable intentions at best related to soliciting opinions related to said "product".
With that said, I am very sorry about the heavy hammer... most deserve it. You may prove otherwise and indeed completely unwarranted of such concerns. I really hope so! For every member with 1000+ posts, there was a day in their lives too that they had their initial 24 posts. I get it. Compassion is just replaced by skepticism when you are on the Dodge forums as often as I am. There are a lot of not-so-savory-characters out there. Lurking trolls and sludge claimants are my kryptonite.
And... even with my questioning, I did provide a valid response and real data. The BBB info (if you consider them a valid source of checks-and-balances since they are sometimes questionable in and of themselves) has them as an "A" rating with 9 "issues" in 36 months. As FF stated, most mainstream aftermarket warranty carriers are just a shade over snakes. U.S. Fidelius has paid name brand Nascar folks to promote there wares while at the same time earning a less than stellar history within online forums. As a mod on another forum, we once had a vendor/sponsor that took members money and promptly went out of business. Sucked.
With that said, the truth is always in the middle and opinions are like belly buttons, everybody's got one. The only "good" warranty is the "manufacturers" warranty. ALL OTHERS come with a significant degree of risk and involvement. Some will swear by them. Other will swear at them.
As for that IndyD dude being a great character... he is
When you and your D really need me, I'll be there. Mark those words.

Truthfully I got no problem with that.
But I will defend myself when the occasion arises.
I respect what you do, plus the challenge you take upon yourself with moderating a forum. There is a great latitude due to you for this since I only log in once in awhile and I am not a supporter. Therefore I do know my place.
Thanks for following up with me.

Hermi,
I like you. You are a good guy.
Tell me a little about "Citrus/Levy County" and being raised right. I find that interesting. In my mind it is near Tallahassee?

In short...
Citrus and Levy County are on the Gulf Coast about halfway down Florida. Those are the counties I grew up in and now my family lives in.
"raised right" is a reference to my parents but also to my brethen of the Masonic Lodge.
