Hello guys Im going to buy a 06 durango LTD tomorrow its got the 5.7L hemi I was wondering if you guys can let me know if its a good suv and what i should look for before i buy it. thanks

 

I have the both the 04 ram 1500 SLT.. and the 04 Durango LTD.. and it is a really good SUV.. We've taken the durango camping more then anything over the ram, only because we have a great dane and another dog, and theres more then enough room in the durango to store stuff... especially with the roof rack. Its not too bad on fuel either--- for a full size suv.

 

I have the 2007 LTD and it is has more than enough power with the 5.7 liter. It is alot bigger than the first generation Durango and larger than my wifes Trailblazer. I average 14 miles per gallon with half street and half highway although I have alot of modifications to the engine and exhaust,

I drive an 06 4.7L durango with 50,000 miles on it. i have a bunch of heavy attachments on it and it has plenty of power. i have no problem hauling light to medium loads and if driven correctly i can get around 17 mpg that mostly city driving. its a great suv i had 2 first gen durangos before this it is just an amazing truck made by a great company.
