2004 Limited Durango - CD player
I have the 6 disc CD player. Within the past month, the storage mechanism inside the CD player has apparently jamed. I was able to retrieve 3 of the 6 CDs. THe remaining three are still being held hostage.
Now for the real issue. Since that incident, the car has developed an electrical drain on the battery. It has now increased where the battery will be discharged over night to the point of not starting the car.
I am extremely suspicious of the CD player because, at times, it sounds as if it is trying to eject the remaing CD's.
Now for the questions:
Has any forum member had a similar problem?
Does anyone know the location of the fuse that powers the CD player?
Does anyone know where an OEM replacement can be obtained?
I would appreciate any information that would help resolving this problem.
Thank you,
Ken Myers

www.mopar,com should have the OEM replacement or www.stylintrucks.com would have the aftermarket. THe fuse box under the hood should have a diagram of the fuses on the cover. There is one near the drivers wheel well also:
