My 07 Durango has a front suspension bounce. The bounce is particularly noticeable when crossing a diagonal bump like a roadway/bridge joint. It feels like the front end hops to the side.
I purchased new tires recently and they seem to amplify the problem. Tire pressure is at recommended point.
I'm considering changing the shocks. Is this the right thing to address the problem?
Go to either front corner of the durango (standing in front of a wheel well) and push to the side once real hard and let go. If the car continues to sway, you need new struts and/or shocks.
