Replacement remotes and headphones are available on E-bay for the VES. Personally I don't ever play the VES system over the radio as I have no interest in listening to what the kids are watching.

Default 2005 Durango VES

very recently I bought a 2005 Dodge Durango with the VES system. I am unable to get the audio to play through the speakers. The Dodge dealer said that everything is hooked up properly. The vehicle had an aftermarket radio installed, however, the dealer said that is not an issue. Any suggestions since it seems all I do is go to the dealer and spend money without any results

does the sound work through the headphone jack on the back? You can plug in a regular wire-based set of headphones just to make sure the player is generating a signal. Maybe the player is set to broadcast to wireless headphones instead of fm signal? I'm not sure if there is a setting for that or not but might be something to investigate.
