Default 05' dodge durango won't start

I had a mechanic come and put a new head on my car, but instead of him finishing the job, he quit. So, I had to call someone else out to finish the job (my husband). He started it yesterday, but he is saying now that the car will not start, and that is even after he put the last bolt on.. What do I need to do? Can someone give me some insight on this situation?

Robin:

Wow! Replacing one of the heads is not a task for someone without a decent level of auto know how. There are a lot of things that can go wrong with this type of repair.

To start with, most of the top of the engine has to come off to get the head off. Why was the head replaced to begin with?

Head replacement requires new a new head gasket as well as intake manifold gaskets. The fuel system has to be depressurized so that the connections to the rail can come off.

Do you know for a fact that it is getting fuel now? You must have fuel, spark, and compression for the engine to run.
