It is sad that you have had bad experiences, and that you will never buy a Durango again. Like fascistfaction states, every brand has design flaws and problems. If you bought the car used, that contributes to the issues as well, because there is no way to know exactly how the previous owner treated the vehicle.

What made me angry was that the entire point of this thread was to state one person's problem and bash Dodge. The first I have no problem with, the latter I do. There was no seeking of help, answers, ideas, or information.

My wife's family had a really bad experience with a brand new Chevrolet once. The car would randomly accelerate or brake. When the service manager at the Chevrolet dealership they bought it from took it for a test drive by himself and brought it back, he rolled up to my father-in-law and said he couldn't replicate the problem. Then he proceeded to park it, and the car decided to accelerate into the dealership wall.

It took a lawsuit and lengthy court battle for my wife's parents to get their money back. Do you see my father-in-law or myself going onto Chevrolet forums just to tell our story and tell everyone there that Chevrolet or GM products are piles of junk, that we will never buy one again?

No, you don't.

However, once again, fascistfaction is right, its a free country (for the moment, at least). Sell the car and do as you wish.
this may be a stupid question, but why not? Wwhy would you not want other people to know about a problem, maybe it was a one time thing, or maybe a 1000 other people had similar problems, and say that maybe none of them did this, and then just traded in their cars, and other unsuspecting people just bought them, and then now the other people have a problem they did not expect or know even existed...maybe you wouldn't have to state what crap the car was, or how sucky GM is, but don't you think people should know? Where else to post it? Maybe we could post our Dodge problems on a Mazda site as to not **** off people on a Dodge forum?

Well, I could have multi-quoted and responded to a slew of ignorant statments, but I figured I wouldn't waste my time. I hear them on a regular basis...as does EVERY other delaership of EVERY other carmaker in the USA. I saw neither asking for advice or help. They both came to Dodge-bash and troll-rage. Yeah, big surprise when you don't get a positive response. You shouldn't expect one. Bottom line is your chit is broke. If you want advice repairing it, then ask. If you want to whine, call your mother. She's not here on the forums.

You completely missed the point. Did you not read the first part of the post you quoted?
