Default 07 Ltd exhaust changes

I've got an '07 Limited, and finally did the torsion bar lift on it last week.
Gained an inch (looks WAY BETTER!!!), and then booked it in at the shop for an alignment.

I've been trying to decide on a new exhaust system, so, for now, I had them cut off the resonator and add on a new tip.
Sounds a little better... I was thinking about cutting out the cat next.
We don't have any smog/emissions crap to worry about here.. but any idea if removing the cat is going to mess up sensors, etc.. ?
Also, is removing the cat going to make any difference in sound out the pipe?

I would think that your oxygen sensors will go nuts,

Will definitely make your check engine light pop on with a code for sensor 2, because the sensor will usually detect no converter in the system.

A constant CEL is a bad idea. Later on, if another problem emerges and the computer tries to tell you about it with a code, you'll already be ignoring the CEL and sensor 2 code, and won't see the additional code(s) until its possibly to late.
