Did you check the fuel pressure (or have it checked) yet?

ALL the drivers side coils aren't working. i had it running and unplugged each coil. all 4 on the driverss ide didn't change the idle, when i unplugged the passenger side, the idle went lower and chugged more.....

any ideas?

forgot to check pressure, it has fuel as the shrader squirts good.

Some fuel doesn't mean its the proper amount. Pressure check is the only way to tell for sure.

Did you test the coils? Test them (multimeter required) to see if its the coils or somewhere before the coils thats failing.

whats the test method, i ohmed them out and got a similiar reading between all 2.3 ohms accross terminals on connector....

Test one (or all) of the coils on the good side. If they all have the same resistance (ohms), or very close, odds are you haven't found the problem, just a symptom of the problem.

Gonzo:

Have you had the battery load tested yet? I know you say it cranks well, but these Durangos are very sensitive to a dead/dying battery.

Have you ever had to keep your foot on the gas pedal to keep it running?

hello, i have not had to keep my foot on the pedal to keep it running.....you can feel the miss at idle in park, when you put it in drive or reverse, the whole car shakes.
