Default DTC P1128 and P1129

New to this forum and was looking for some help. Did a tune up on my Durango Limited with the 5.7. Oil change, New plugs, Champion iridium, New O2's all 4 and PCV. Also change the EGR valve. Now I'm have DTC P1128 and P1129 coming up. I replaced the front O2's (even though they were new) again finding that this was the problem on other websites. I also know the codes are...

P1128 - CLOSED LOOP FUELING NOT ACHIEVED - BANK 1
P1129 - CLOSED LOOP FUELING NOT ACHIEVED - BANK 2

Please help

Thanks

Don't think our engines (any of them) have a MAF sensor, just a MAP.

I used Bosch both times. I know these engines have problems with Bosch spark plugs. But didn't think that the O2's would a problem.

Its not necessarily a problem with our vehicles and Bosch units, its just the fact that Bosch has very low quality standards when it comes to their O2 sensors. There is a reason they are the cheapest everywhere you go.

They have the Denso OEM factory units for under $40, IIRC. Much cheaper than going through a $tealership, and the same sensors.

Yeah just sucks. Already have $150 in O2's in it. Think I'm going to drop it off at the dealer to have a diagnostics done so I'm not chasing my tail. My front AC not working also. Get it all taken care of at once.

My two cents: Find a trusted shop to take it to. Meineke is a good one in my area. Far cheaper than a $tealership. Dealerships are not any better than a good, local shop.

Well it was the MAP sensor. Plus found that I have a bad AC Pump, Plugged expansion valve to the front AC and bad Dryer. YAY!!

Installed MAP. Will see if that takes care of it in a day or two.

MAP didn't fix it. Back to the dealer it goes.
