Default Interior lights problem

I am having a problem with my 2005 Dodge Durango SLT. This just started tonight. My interior lights will not go off. The dome lights & hatch light stay on. I tried shutting off my car, restarting, and the dome lights went off but the hatch light stayed on. I also noticed that when you turn on the headlights, the lights around the A/C control area is not on but the lights are on around the radio and dash. So wondering what could be wrong? Will I need to end up taking it into a dealership or could it be a simple fix I can do myself? Thanks for any help.

Remove battery + cable, let sit for 15 minutes. Put it back on and see where that takes you

I tried the battery, still have the same problem. Yes, I checked about recalls and my vehicle has not had it fixed so thinking that's the problem. Will be taking it to get fixed Monday. Does anyone know how long that takes to get fixed, a few hours or a day? Thanks for the help.

The recall will take about 1.5 hours, But if you don't need a cluster. If you need the cluster it could be one to two days. Thats if the dealer can get the parts.

i just purchased a 05 limited and it has the same problem, the lights on the buttons on the left side of the climate control dont work and the interior lights dont work when you open the door... i went to the dealer and they said the recall was done to mine.. and they cant doing anything since the recall was done.. so im gonna have to either call chrysler or fix it myself... anyone have any ideas?
