You need to find a constant hot wire behind the headlight switch and jump the fog light wire to said hot wire. Typically the wire that runs to the battery is the one you use.

okay so i would have to run new wires and all the crap. :/ i didnt want to have to do that. couldnt i tap into the high beam power and run that to a relay and get a hot fomr the battery and then run the second source of power to the fogs so when you put the highs on the factory power would be cut out but the power from the relay would kick in and when the highs werent on the power from the relay would be cut out and the power fomr the factory harness would kick in?

Just find a hot wire that runs to the switch and make a jump from the fog light to that wire, simple.

Iirc most chrysler products follow the same electrical maturity path. It should be TIPM controlled, hence you need it enables by the dealer or a programmer capable of doing so. Running relays and jumper cables won't help.

I am guessing most dealers would scratch their head and tell you its not possible, simply because they don't know how to do it. You'd have to find a real pro, and they are hard to find, even at dealerships.

It may or may not be possible, the trick is finding someone who actually knows. These newer vehicles that utilize the computer so much are different animals compared to trucks like my 2001 1500, where all you have to do is run some wire.

Try talking to a "custom" shop that would have the ability to / lack of restrictions and control to do it. Many areas highs and fogs is not permitted.

No there's a rule with no more than 4 front facing lights. Since I have converted my headlights to hids there is no wattage increase when you put your highs on only the angle in the bulb. So I would technically only have 4 front facing lights and you couldn't technically counts my highs as high and low beams because my wattage never increased only the angle in which the bulb is in the housing

You can do it with a jumper wire on the relays. Jump from the hot of the parking lights, as they are on all the time to the relay for the fogs. This will keep the fogs on all the time when you hit the high beams. Only downside is if you park with the parking lights on the fogs will be on also. I would post a picture but my D is in the body shop.
