Default 2006 Durango doesn't unlock either manually and remotely

I think the battery might be dead, and I don't have access to the other set of keys (just yet). When I insert the key into the driver door (this door is the only manual access point) I am unable to turn it. Any advice?

I was able to access it manually a couple of days ago, but no longer.

You can try some WD40 or light oil and try to turn the lock.

I use a graphite lubricant on my warehouse doors.

Bib,

Are you using the same key you used a couple of days ago?

I lubricated the key, still nothing.

And yes, this is the same key I've been using for a while now.

The Durango was towed to the local dealership so it's in their hands now, I'll update when I hear from them.

So, dead battery plus door cylinders on drivers side were shot. 506$ including tow.

Why was the vehicle towed?
