I'm looking at it Thursday afternoon. In particular I want to know if its got the 3.92 or 3.55. Its got a hitch on it and what looks like the bigger mirrors but it seems like that doesn't always indicate it having the full tow package with 3.92s vs the "tow prep" package.

Its a limited 2006 with all the bells and whistles, hemi, sunroof, dvd but no nav. 152,000kms.

Any other way to tell gear ratio other than vin search or tag on the diff(that never seems to be there)?

I pulled the carfax on it already and all looks good other than a minor accident in 2007 which the owner had already told me about.

Thanks.

There should be a sticker inside the glove box with the diff info. You can also contact customer service at dodge.com and ask them for the build sheet.

Dodge Car Care PM'd me and its got the 3.55s. Ended up buying it anyway as its got everything else we wanted including remote start and and power tailgate. Didn't even know the Durangos could come with power tailgate.

Now we just need a second key and another pair of headphones for the VES and we'll be all set.

Oh yeah a few maintenance things, brakes, weeping tranny cooler line, going to do the plugs as I doubt they've been done. Maybe rear shocks before I start towing.

Got the plugs done yesterday. Way easier than I thought. Went with the NGK v-grooves. Use them in all my dodge stuff with good results. Hardest part was getting the connections off the coils, those clips were really stiff!
