After reading your response I looked at my wires and they do have a 2003 date code? So, I am assuming now this 03 engine was swapped into my 04 Durango or is this not the case? Now, it would be nice to find out from what model if it is true? Thx again!

The 03 wire set on my 04 Hemi is most likely the original set. The build date on my D is 01/04.
All this tells us is that the wires were made sometime in 03, and were assembled onto the engine which eventually ended up in our 04 vehicles.
Remember that all these parts can be made at different times, and may not be used until quite a bit later.

To research the history of your D, you might want to pull a Carfax or other similar document to see what dealers it visited.
That is how I learned that my D was on engine #2.

For now I would assume that you are on the oem motor unless information to the contrary is discovered.
