Question Can anyone confirm if this is a 2004 Headrest?

So many years ago in 2005 or so I was attempting to get taller headrests for the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee at the time because I'm 6'4" and my head way surpassed the headrest in the Jeep.

I took a gamble and ordered a pair of Durango headrests on the off-shot they were compatible... they were not.

So they sat in my garage until recently when I finally figured I should sell them.

However I'm not 100% sure if they are from a 2004 Durango or a 2002 and I see there was a major model change in 2003.

I hope someone would be willing to let me know if they can tell just by looking at it, or from the measurements, if this is indeed from a 2004 Durango or a not. If not then I am very sure it is a 2002.

They are I believe charcoal grey.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

My 2001 didn't have adjustable headrests so I also have nothing for you.

I have a friend with a 2002 and his headrests aren't removable either- but I think (like with the Jeeps) that depended on the specific options. I know there were Grand Cherokees that didn't have removable headrests, but mine did.

My 2004 Durango Limited headrests measure 5 7/8 and do not look like your photos.
I would say they are NOT 2004 headrests

Interesting - thank you, it is much appreciated. I've ended my ebay auction, luckily there were no bidders. I did put put the measurements in the listed and admitted I couldn't confirm it was for a 2004 and asked anyone to double check themselves before bidding.

Guess I am stuck with 2 headrests for some random car or truck. Oh well.

I never had a Durango, I bought these on eBay- and unfortunately a part number won't help unless there is somewhere I can look up a photo with detailed specs. I did find sites that listed the front seat headrests but there was no photos and no measurements.

My friend has a 2003 Durango so he didn't heave the removable headrests at all.

This site- http://www.partswebsite.com/dodgepar...30783&fl_id=57

Best it has is this diagram which kind of looks like what I have but not enough to be certain of-

The site also lists the price new of a headrest of over $250 each which is crazy.
