Default Stereo upgrade for 04 Durango Limited?

Hey Guys,

Was on here couple years ago with my dakota and just bought a Hemi Durango Limited AWD from a buddy of mine fairly cheap, needs some minor work but seems to be a good truck, motor has already been replaced so im good there but need to solve the radio issue.

Been looking through 25 pages of threads and could not find an answer for this.

I have a RAQ 6CD deck with VES, no sound which from i did find is the amp, what my question is, could I upgrade the deck to double din with bluetooth and sirrus radio ready with little issues?

Will my ves still work afterwards?

When I pull the panel off, it looks like there is lots of room back there, any help would be awesome

Thanks Mark

I am going to try and find a uconnect with sat radio and hook it up after I change the amp, there's a stock nav deck from a 2010 ram up the street at the wreckers I wonder how hard that would be to connect? if not I guess I'm going audio shopping

Suggestions or any ideas about the above info?

Thanks Mark

looks good man but the only reason i would say go with the stock (same price from dealer) is after you put it in you will have two half hole on the sides of your deck looks goofy unless you can find a way to close them up

Thats what carbon fibre tape is for, all the ricer kids use it lol

Could the stock amp still work with the aftermarket system or would i need an amp as well?
