Default Transmission will not shift

Hello, parked my 07 Durango SLT hemi last night, and when I went out this morning it started allright, but will not engage in any gear. It dropped to minus 20 C last night so I let it idle to try to warm up the fluid, no joy. When go through the gear range the tach drops for a second but other than that nothing. I have checked the fluid level when hot and it is fine, checked the battery and connections, and scanned for any codes. The only thing I am not sure of is when the filter and fluid was last changed, I am the second owner and it has 247000 km's on it.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

on the older mopar trans the fluid does not move the fluid throu the cooler if it is in "P". this will limit the warm up. to warm the trans up best to have it in "N". but i dont know that the new trans are the same. my 2001 dak 42 trans does have the cooler line blocked in "P". but does flow in all the other gears. this place i have known since the late 60s, if they cant answer your Q no one can. and you can get any parts you need. if you take your trans to any shop odds are they get there parts from A & REDS, http://www.areds.com/

I had a simular issue. For me it turned out to be a fuse in the long skinny box under the hood. It was a 10 amp I think, closer side to the fender, like third or fourth fuse down. It is marked on the lid, something to do with transmission. Something to check if you don't already have it figured out.

Thanks, I had it flat bedded to a local transmission shop. They are thinking that the palnetary's have let go? Saying there is zero pump pressure. Strange thing is that there is zero debris in the pan and they say the fluid looks like it was added two days ago.

Turns out the torque converter is shot and they say the clutches are starting to look burnt. $1500 for the repair
