Default 04 Durango won't start

Hi, I have a 2004 Dodge Durango 4.7L and it will not start. All the accessories and lights work but it won't even try to turn over. Disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and reconnected but still nothing. 2 weeks ago I had a fuel injector replaced and all of them cleaned. Think it's the starter?

If it's cranking, no. If engine is not turning over. .. perhaps. But would test with good battery first. If the engine is cranking check for spark and fuel. Check fuel pump relay. ..etc.

It's your starter. The new bullet design starters usually don't warn. They just dead stop. They don't return enough to tell itself the gear is home so it will not engage. By that they also will not dim the lights or anything else. If you have any mechanical skill you can pull the starter, open it, clean all the black residue out of it and apply a bit of anti-seize compound. Very little as in put it on your finger and rub it in. Put it together and it will work. They all build up residue inside and the colder it gets the more likely they are to just plain stop. They seldom burn out the motor. Should get ya about 6 months or longer.
