Does anyone know the tool used to remove the hold down bolt in the

original battery tray of a 2005 dodge Durango 4.7 V8. I've changed

numerous batteries before never seen a hold down constructed like

this. I Called 3 Dodge Dealerships service and parts department and

no one knew what tool to use for removal of the hold down bolt. Must

remove soon battery needs to be changed due to age. No longer

holding charge OEM Part #55362632AB PLEASE HELP. Thanks in

advance.

 

Hello Dodge peolple. Does anyone know an aftermarket battery tray

which will fit a Dodge Durango 2005 4.7 V8, or a flat battery tray

which can be used with existing bolts and holes. OEM tray is poorly

constructed. Thanks

For my truck, I looked up the Dodge part number, and then did a google search on that. Came up with a LOT of options.

 

My 2005 4.7 Durango used a metric socket wrench on the battery hold down bolt, 8 or 10 mm, the bolt broke so I'll have to drill it out, I'm pulling the 4.7 after it overheated and warped the heads, thinking about putting a 5.7 in there while I'm at it
