I have a 05 Durango and the temp gauge is stuck at mid point. When I turn the suv off it stays there. It'll go down but when I open the door it will go right back to mid point. Sometimes it will work but most of the time it's stays there. My temp light came on yesterday (first time) but I was low on coolant, about a half gal. Other than that it don't overheat. I reset the instrument panel and everything went up and down except the temp gauge. Where do I start?

 

If the temp gauge failed the cluster test........ time to replace the cluster.

 

Ok I am looking for a cluster and found some on ebay...what do I have to look for? Like stock number, compatibility, etc.
