Default Thumping over bumps

As of lately, I’ve noticed bassy thumps as I go over even the slightest of bumps or ruts in my ‘04 Durango. I mean, subwoofer in the trunk volume. I’ve even noticed some vibration of the whole car.

Is it my cheap a$$ Gabriel struts? Bushings or mounts for something?

I would inspect the driveshaft and pinion on the rear differential first before the rear shocks. Is the thumping sound coming from the front or rear? I would also check for any skid plates under the vehicle too.

I'm unable to pinpoint whether it comes from the front or rear. It reverberates through the whole car. I'm thinking it may be the front, though, as I've had front end issues on it before. That's just an assumption.

But, if anything, it feels like it's almost coming from the middle of it, as it seems to rattle all 4 windows when it gets really bad.

I'll take it on a drive today and see what happens.
