Default Might upgrade the radio... depending on dificutly

So I have the RAQ model head unit with SiriusXM in my DD. I wish it had nav and hands free calling. I've been looking at Crutchfield. So, my questions...
Will I be able to keep the satellite radio? I believe it's part of the original DD head unit. I've never seen a separate module but maybe I just haven't looked in the right place?
How hard is it to install hands free bluetooth? ... I mean proper hands free.. not some power port/cig lighter FM modulator thing. I've done that and while it sort of worked, I hate having crap attached to the dash or vents or sticking way out of the power plug. I recently had a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 as a rental and loved having the hands free calling features. That truck was actually awesome! But I digress....
I'd like to see if I can install something along those lines in my DD. Hands free calling, nav, satellite radio.

Actually, hands free is the law in most states. I like it because I can answer the phone driving. The problem though is I can answer the phone while driving. I don't really like most people who call me. Usually scammers.

On behalf of all of us who work on older cars, PLEASE use the proper adapter when you change the radio. I've worked on great cars that someone butchered the wiring and hacked the wires off short in the dash. Maybe a 10 year old can get in there, my thick arms don't fit.

There are so many radios out there that can do what you want, it's just a matter of finding one you like. I doubt you'll find one as slick and smooth as a factory unit, but you should be able to get close. I've got a basic unit in my '96 Ram that will answer the phone and let me talk, if I ever get around to linking my phone.

The black bar at the top of the message has the date when it was posted. I've seen replies recently to missives from 2009. I generally look but sometimes I forget myself. It happens.

Pay attention to posting dates..... if it's been a while, click on the users name, and right there it'll tell you 'last active' date.
