'04 Durango Hemi Engine Vibration
#24
ryt,
You are a good sport. Sorry I was so callous and matter of fact.
Yea, sucks. Sorry to hear that it happened... but in the end, it does happen. Not often fortunately.
At 145k miles, it wasn't a new motor, but I can certainly see where I would be pissed if it happened to me. I have heard that the 5.7 and 6.2L HEMIs may soon be replaced by a bigger HEMI (6.4L) to provide for a little extra meat and longer life.
HEMIs are still the engine of choice for Top Fuel dragsters and Funny Cars so in the end, I guess longevity is sacrificed for performance a bit.
Again, sorry and sorry.
