Radio doesnt work below 65 degrees
2006 Durango Limited. I don't understand it. When I get in my Durango, the radio will not start playing music until the weather outside is over about 65 degrees. The display is working fine. Turning it on and off does nothing. After driving it for a while with the heater on in cold months, it will warm up and start working. Has anyone ever heard of this??

Mopar radios aren't what they used to be back in the 1980's-2000 era. Stop by a radio shop and either have them install a new radio, or if you want to do it yourself, buy a nice radio, get the installation kit as well as the wiring adapter kit and you'll be jammin' in no time. The last one I put in had all sorts of features you might want. It was ready for a satellite subscription, played CD's and DVD's, thumb drives with tons of music as well as regular radio.
