In your opinion, are the platinum plugs worth the extra price, just stick with the oem plugs?

I have a faster way to replace the spark plugs. Remove both inner fendr wells, 8mm or 5/16 socket and remove the plugs thru the fender well, and you do need to bend or remove EGR tube and battery.

I just had the original Champion plugs replaced at 45k miles by a local mechanic. It took him 3 hrs to do andI used Autolite XP5263 double platinum ($4.99 at Bumber to Bumper) as the replacements and they work perfect. These new Autolite plugs will easily go 100k. The original plugs that started with a .045" gap now have .052" of gap which I call very acceptable for being 15k over the service replacement recommendation.
