yes it was leaking....thats why im working on it....as i said before...this all started when the harness rubbed the pulleys and cut a few wires.....it ran hot...now i have this hole l;eaking under the thermostat housing......the hole is in the block....not the housing itself......tried bleeding the system and got nothing but steam for a whole minuite...
The small hole at the base of the thermostat housing (in the block), is the water pump weep passage. If the fluid is pouring out of this hole, it’s time to change the pump located under the timing chain cover (it’s driven by the timing chain).
