housing which housing the thermostat housing??? was there a leak b4 u did any work?

yes it was leaking....thats why im working on it....as i said before...this all started when the harness rubbed the pulleys and cut a few wires.....it ran hot...now i have this hole l;eaking under the thermostat housing......the hole is in the block....not the housing itself......tried bleeding the system and got nothing but steam for a whole minuite...

if u have a hole on the engine block its time for a new engine. pressure test it and look for where it is comming from take a pic if u cant see or dont know what it is u are looking at.

The small hole at the base of the thermostat housing (in the block), is the water pump weep passage. If the fluid is pouring out of this hole, it’s time to change the pump located under the timing chain cover (it’s driven by the timing chain). See the “holy grail” at the top of the second gen forum to see the procedure in the service manual. Good luck.
