so I took my car to the dealer you know about the problem with code p1776 before I took it I changed the trans fluid and also put a new filter in.It is trep 02 with a 2.7 engine so
the car stayed there for a day and this is what they told me
1- I needed trans fluid to be changed and a new filter
2- Also needed a trans flush
3-the total $470 to do it
4- would that fix my problem they said maybe
5- They also told me I may need a new trans
So I ask to talk to the mechanic that checked my car but he was in his lunch break
guys I realy need help on this can someone help me out on how to fix this problem

 

Try a transmission shop and see if they can fix your solinoid problem without an entire transmission change.

I don't know what dealer you went to, But P1776 is for valve that has gotten stuck or latch position. In other words they should have told you that you needed a valve body and that comes with a new filter too. Maybe the techs the dealer have is not trained on transmissions. Do you know if your car still have powertrain warranty? When ever you go to a dealer ask for a level 4 tech, not a lube tech.
