Anyone know what the Dealer charges to change out the inner tie rod ends on my Daughter's '99 Intrepid. I can't get a comitted price from the local Dealer. Tie rod ends only....James

On my 97, to replace one they wanted about 300. I found there was a kit to replace left & right for under 20. I did the job myself but it did take me a few hours and a few new sockets!

The dealer will ask for 3.5 hrs to replace the bushings. and set toe. You can buy the bushing from a parts house for 20.00, and install the bushing your shelf. You will need to bend the locks to remove the 7/8 bolts. As long you don't loosen up the nuts that make the toe adjustment, you don't need to set toe.
