Default Wipers gone crazy

Dodge Intrepid 2001 SE 2.7 120,000
the title says it all
I was told by a mechanic to replace the wiper motor/module assembly, and that should fix the intermittent stopping

does anyone have a pic of this assembly for me to look at?

I'm not totally convinced this will cure the problem but maybe it will

thanks for any input

If it's no problem getting to it, look on pages 293, 294 & 295. That should be for your vehicle, 2001~

I just went out to look under the hood of my car with a flash light because it's dark out side(you know that sometimes you can see more under the hood at night with a light for some reason)

I saw something that looked like a wet oil spot on the rubber PCV hose.I put my finger on it and the spot was wet with a hole in the hose, the hose was vary vary soft and just collapsed....so just maybe this is the culprit that is causing my code P0455?
going to replace the PCV and hose tomorrow
