I have recently buyed a Neon 2000 and i have a little question (maybe its a dumb one): When i'm on the road, as soon as i reach 120 kph (75 mph) i got that beep beep beep! (the same that we hear when the door is open and the key is on the engine start). Is this an alarm telling me something is wrong or its a normal sound (maybe saying, hey, you're going too fast!!)...
Thanks on advance...
Well, i'm from Venezuela. I'm not sure if it's a safety setting, my dad have a Neon 2001 and this doesn't happen. Thanks for your answer , if anyone knows anything else post a reply please.
There is no alarm of any kind that should go off when you hit a certain speed. It could be just about anything, from a lose door sensor to your e-brake not being out all the way...
Ummm are you running hot? Cause when the car starts to over heat you get theAlarm that sounds if the car is overheating. I had to happen to me was i going 80 mph on the highway my car was overheating because of the lower hose cut and dropping fluid.
I have a 2000 neon and i never heard that noise and i have got mine all the way upto 120. so i have no clue what to tell you. you could call a local dodge dealer or something and ask them.
