Just waundering who has one and do you think I should get one or not for safety reasons . Ive always wanted one for shows and so . Found one on ebay for 21 bucks shipped. Black leather and polished chrome is the one Im lookin at.

Thats what I was debating on if I want to get rid of the airbag or not . Im now lookin at a red and black bride removable .

 

You guys dont need airbags seriously I have owned 2 trucks without air bags they are a waste of space and yeah I know all the safety features about em. AirWolf you said your all show and some go Go ahead and get the steering wheel just be careful cause static will set off an airbag even with the negative Batt. Cable disconnected trust me I know it almost broke my leg when it went off.

 

i dont like that comment at all...the airbag is an important part..i would never give up safety for looks....its a steering wheel...ive been to all kinds of car shows and not once have i made the comment "look at that cool steering wheel" come on guys..keep the safety over looks

 

there is no way i would get rid of the airbag. also something for thought: if your in an accident and sustain bad injuries, your insurancecompany might not like the fact you got rid of it. it could also be contributory negligence on your part trying to win a lawsuit or settlemtn... even if some moron hits you. not saying it would cause you to lose completley, might just affect the results.

 

yeah I was just thinkin about it had my sxt setup for shows now for 2yrs and gone without an aftermarket steering wheel that long so thought I would just get a really nice leather steering wheel cover that looks like a aftermarket steering wheel.

 

keep it airwolf please if you wanna do something custom on the steering wheel paint the ram thing in the middle

 

I actually was going to black it out this weekend and get a really awesome red and black leather lookin steering wheel cover to replace my flamed one I have now.

 

yea just keep it safe to drive.
