Default racing stripes...

had some time... took off all my factory side pin-striping...remove a graphic on the side I had made..and replaced with racing stripes... I know, not many like my wing, but it's just me...my style...but question....should I extend/continue the stripes under the license plate? I have a little vinyl left..and yes, in the front they go all the way down uner to the front lip

thanx! will probably be going out before it gets dark and extend them...while the weather is nice.

by the way, these are just the standard 6 inch ones, found them at Murrays Auto, pretty sure it'sthe same brand available at all the major auto parts store chains. Problem is, you get 20'... just not enough to do the roof if yer doing dual stripes..unless u buy 2 @15 bucks each...

It has always been my philosophy that if you put in racing stripes such as those, they should extend from the bottom of your front bumper to the bottom of your rear bumper...

thinkin I may or may not do the roof... have looked at plenty of pics of cars, especially older muscle cars over the years, one of my favs is the 60's Camaro.... every one I've seen with racing stripes look like this... no stripes on the roof...

Extend them, do the roof, window tint and rims. If you do all that it would be a sick neon. I would have done black though.

Looks good I would say continue them, I think it would look good either way roof or no roof. Also like the wing, heres an idea for the wing strip the paint off the main wing part and polish the aluminum and paint the side fins red to mach the car. Just a little low cost mod to make the wing look custom, possibly paint the pedistals white to mach the stripes? just an idea.

its personal preference of course as to whether or not to do the roof. Some cars look better with no roof stripes and some look better with them. I think that i would do the roof tho.
