Default Exhaust Concerns...

My friend told me that I will need a new o2 sensor and ECU or an ECU performance chip now that I put the back pipe off of an SRT4 on my car. also that I now run the risk of scorching my rings since I'm running straight pipes

is this true?

no...... Chips dont work on neons. I have an srt-4 exhaust and no problems. When you add mods u sometimes get better gas milage since u let your engine breath easier and leting exhaust out faster

the gas milage has been heated subject between me and my friend. But either way you will hardly notice the difference but you might if you get the heavy food sickness that comes with modding your car. But in theory all air flow mods will hurt your gas miliage since more air means more feul needs too be injected. butwhen I took out my cat I saw increase ingas milage .
