I can't believe I did that...
This is a duel pourpous forum... so with that being said...
Have you ever done something to your car that you can't believe you did and wish you could go back in time to make sure you didnt or wake up and hope it was a dream? share your dumbass mistakes here.
I'll start it off..
Yesturday I was working under the hood and I had a socket set that was made for a power drill, and it had a long bit for it in the holder. I had placed the holder under the hood where I was working and talking to my friend at the same time (see where this is going?) well when I was done I went to close the hood... and low and behold... I forgot the socket set and BAM! closed the hood right on it making a 'pimple' on my hood... I couldnt believe what I just did.. I tried to fix it or make it look better with the same tool to knock down the 'Pimple' and now I have a dibit in my hood that needs to be pulled or epoxied painted and all...
There's my story...
Now I need oppinions on how I should fix this and how to do it.
Ok, you can all laugh now!

eh, we all make mistakes... hahaha... trust me.
Anyways I am just throwing it out there... but you could try to whack it out by taking off the hood and using a rubber mallet, a layer of towels (so as to not have the hammer directly hit the metal), or leave it and no one notices[&:]

Here do this.....
Take off the heat **** from inside the car.
Go down to the Dodge dealership.
Buy a new car.
Slip the old heat **** into the new car.
Bam fixed....
No but really, try the towel rubber mallet trick. Works pretty good as long as you don't have creases in the metal. If you do it's considerably more work to smooth out the dent.

yesterday I was working on my subs and amp...and my speakerbox is so huge (we designed it to fit snug in the neon) that you have to take the spare out first, just to move the box around....(lift up box pull spare out and then the box can come out)....so anyway that fabric board thing that covers up the spare tire hole I pulled out...I forgot that it had to screws in it to keep the amp bolted down in place....I SET THE THING ON THE TOP OF MY CAR....and when I was putting it back in I grabbed it off the roof and heard "eeerrrrrrr"...DAMNIT....now i have a nice perfect long scratch on the roof....happens to the best of us lol
Kapitald is the scratch jus tin the clear coat or down to the metal? If it's just in the clear coat go to Wal-Mart, I think they have it, and get Mequire's (spelling) Scratch X it works miracles on clear coat scratches, they are the ones that look like white scratches in your paint, most of the time.

dumb and ignorant XD anyway, I will try the rubber mallot thing
