Default underdrive pully

THIS PULLEY REDUCES THE CRANKSHAFTS TURNING MASS, THEREBY ALLOWING YOUR ENGINE TO TURN HIGHER RPM’S FASTER. DON’T BE FOOLED, NO PULLEY INCREASES AN ENGINES HORSEPOWER, IT ONLY REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF MASS YOUR ENGINE HAS TO TURNTHEREBY FREEING UP10-15% OF YOUR EXISTING POWER
This is a claim made by the seller of an underdrive pulley and I was wondering if this is true? is it worth it? it's for sale for 49.00 plus 14.00 shipping and handling
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNDER...QQcmdZViewItemthere's the link
should I?

Well he seems to be initially good natured of a guy to come out and be honest that they dont INCREASE horsepower, and that it is just freeing up energy that was being robbed before, so yeah, I think give her a shot man.

It's worth it if you're not planning on putting a sound system in your car. I'm having issues b/c my AFX udp isn't sending enough power to my alternator to charge my battery. The improvement that you'll feel is the increase in power with the AC on. Otherwise you wont feel much.

That's similar to the Unorthodox udp and my AFX udp.
I wonder if that's used.

the install is easy... if you have the right tools!

Go down to an autoparts store and rent or buy a 3 jaw pulley puller. You have to stop the pulley from rotating on the axle so you can unscrew the screw that holds it on, pull off the pulley once the screw is off. VIOLA!

Also, make sure when your installing the new one to preheat your oven to 450, then put the UDP in the oven for 30 minutes. Take it out and the pulley will literally slide right onto the crank with no resistance.
