I have a 2002 Neon with a trans problem. Over night the check engine light came on and it won't shift out of first gear. The car runs fine. I get the P0700 code. I have replaced both of the VSS's and still won't get out of first. I would appreciate any suggestions on what to check/fix next.

 

well the P0700 code is a transmission system malfunction so it might be a problem somewhere in the circutry, im not sure if it could be a fuse or what but check all your fuses... sorry i dont know too much about the ATX....

 

Pull the codes out of the TCM and post, or PM and someone maybe able to help you.
