Hey guys.. ive had my neon for about a year now.. its a 2001 chrysler neon.. bone stock never had any mods done (just a stereo with amp/sub)..

I would like to get a bit more power outta it and also make her sound a little better.. thinking of simple mods that a guy like me (little car knowledge) can do to help me out a bit.. Also cheap mods are a real plus cuz im at school and just wanna make her sound and run better..

Im thinking right now about a CAI and thorwing a HID conversion in.. what do u guys think?

And what type of HID kit should i look for? will they look alright with the stock heads or should i buy some aftermarket heads as well??

I would go with the ebay intake and a nice set of hyper white or icey blue headlight bulbs are nicer than hids. I also would go with some msd wires and ngk plugs and a nice dual exhaust to start out with.

 

link to a dual exhoust? and how much am i looking for for that..

how much for the plugs and redoing all that?

also: how easy is a CAI to throw in.. will it do anything if the rest of my car is stock?

PS: Just buoght the CAI off ebay.. hopefully i get it in a week or 2!!

 

depends anywhere from 300 to 700
alot of people here have vibrants exhaust or srt which is da cheapest as low as 30 bucks

you cant beat customer support at modern. Its like they can read our minds...

 

i think there both alright but i lean more to modern but i put howell cuz u put modern

 

try modern for a magnaflow dual or srt forums or ebay for a srt4 dual and for good msd wires its 50 bucks from modern and for some good plugs anywhere from 15 to 30 bucks try your local autoparts store.
