hey im kinda new to the neon and i have kept it stock for almost 8 months its time to play !!! does anyone know if theres any special mods that have to be done to put the srt4 manifold on my 2.0

yes you need an adapter plate. you can get them from i think mattdog from n e o n s . o r g but read the turbo sticky first because its not just about slapping a turbo on, theres a lot more to do first

 

i kno about that .. i had a 240 with kat so i know about the little things !! but how does the engine hold up to the boost?? is the 2.0 a good motor ?? and the auto tranny a prob??

 

now by good motor, what do you mean? power, reliability,life?

 

power and life!!! i havent really seen any of the 2.0 turboed so im kinda wondering if i would be better off doing the srt swap

 

Your 2.0 isnt gonna last too long with a turbo I would say. Just get a 2.4, your 2.0 doesnt have oil squiters for the pistons or an oil cooler. The 2.0 is just not made to be turbo'd, but its easy to do so do what you want.
