RE: MM install
yah, so i started it today, but had to cutt myself short cuz i had to go to work. i was trying to put the top in,but the right side of the factory bushing wouldnt let the insert go in, and the washer fluid bottle is right there so i cant hammer towards the bottom of the insert. i ended up putting the the mount back on without the inserts in today. gunna try it again tmrw. did anyone do it w/o taking the old insert out? what should i cut it with if i have to. the razor blade was a pain

RE: MM install
you SHOULDNT take the old inster out. The old insert is what the new insert grips into!!! Take a knife, like a pocket knife, and cut away at some of the excess rubber meterial until the insert slides in. Its no problem! Just take your time and be careful. Little bits at a time. I think I took out quite a bit but just work slowly till it just slides in.
Ill take a good picture for you tomorrow.

RE: MM install
ok, i got them in. it was a hell of a time, but i did it.they are a great mod for so cheap. The vibration is tolerable, and for an automatic, i felt like they gave me easier shifts(not throwing me out thru the trunk). The only thing that bugs me is how the lower mount's bolt sticks out a littl, but i didnt see if it is suppose to be like that. i also have to go back and remove the stock washers cuz i kept them on. The other thing is that i can hear it vibrate sometimes more than i feel it at times. im guessin there should be a rattle.my buddy did most of the work cuz i had to do the brakes and hub on our other project. thanks guys
